On Friday, February 20th, Eastview High School held an event in order to raise money for cancer patients, familys who are dealing with cancer and cancer reaserch. The event was titled "Voices of Hope," and that is exactly what it was. This sing-a-thon was held in the Performing Arts Center in Eastview High School from 8 A.M. to midnight with a variety of participaipants. There was everything from eastview Spanish classes preforming in spanish, Japenese classes preforming in japaneese, a variety of choirs from different grades and choir classes. Even some of eastviews teachers and alumni sang for the cause.
Also choirs from other North Field and Falcon Ridge helped raise money for the foundation and came to share their voices and show their support for cancer. The Angel Foundation and Eastview High School worked together to make this event possible. Eastview organized most of the event with help to alot of eastview volunteers. Brooke Kallgariff , Miss Twin Cities, and former eastview alumni helped host the event by announcing the preformers and even singing a few songs herself. Everyone who participated did a great job and raised thousands of dollars for the cause.
